What is the default administrator password?

Ok guys after having a boot problem with my laptop, i have tried to do a system repair using the os disk that came with it. 1 problem though is that it asks for a administrator password which i have no idea what it is? i haven't changed it since i got the laptop and the boot issue i have restricts me from getting into windows so therefore i can't create a new password!

can anyone help me out here?

try no password at all, or you could reset the password using something like 'ultimate boot CD' try googling it.

thanks i'l try that ultimate boot programme, well i presume the original manufactures of the laptop (HP) have set a default password on it as just enter doesn't work!
