What is the difference between Active and Passive Xeons?

As the name says really 
Active comes with the Active cooler (a fan attached to the top.)
Passive doesen't have the fan attached So it is passively cooled.

Cheers Chap. Wasn't sure if it was something more complicated (like multi-processor stuff) because the passive CPU is £45 more expensive than the passive one over at a competitor... Not that OcUK sell the suckers anyway!

Weird.. The Intel SKU (Active/Passive) are priced the same...
