what is the difference ?

Hi there , i,m a bit confused but what is the difference between the Western Digital Caviar Green and Black HDD models ?

Green = Lower power, runs cooler, slower
Black = Higher power, runs hotter, faster

Green is one of the current trend of "eco" drives, Black is a "performance" drive.
I've got small Blacks for my OSs on 2 machines and large Greens for the storage.

Blacks are designed for more HDD intensive programs like Desktop publishing/Graphics Designing/Video Editing/Encoding right?
