I finally completed Zelda Twilight Princess the other night having racked up 46 hours of gameplay on it. However, that's not what I mean by the thread title... It's, shamefully, took me since the Wii launch last year to do it!

I didn't have a great deal of time last year with teacher training and a young daughter, but since moving in to the new pad I managed to do 15 hours on it in a few days - like the good old days. Felt like a student again completing Knights of the Old Republic! :p

I have to say I was really impressed with the final fights, although the earlier temples had me scratching my noodle more. On to Metroid 3 now, aiming to complete it by Christmas (I think I can get 5-10 hours a week on the Wii now).

So what's your most shameful record? :D

[EDIT: The rules must be a game that you have played from start to finish on 1 save or if a console has broken. IE: must be 'continuous'. Not stuff like having Mario 3 as a kid, never completing it, then starting again as an adult. Although it would be nice for people to mention this sorta thing!)

I just couldn't sit down for any extended period of time, usually just an hour or so. Never enough to fully complete a particular dungeon or temple. It meant it took me longer to do as I had to remember the next time where I needed to go next.

I made a resolution to myself that I couldn't buy any more games till I completed Zelda. So I did :D

lol i try that resolution on latest 360 games. NO MORE GAMES till I finish or near-complete the ones I got. But mass effect.. :3~

70hours on ffx was waste of time, after gettin nearly everything there was to get, i own the last boss with that samurai aeon in 2 hits :/

put fun out of it

My clocked time on FFVII is 95/96 hours, I wanted to get everything before the last battle, that including the gold chocoboo, all materia, all limit breaks, max health on all characters, killed both weapons, all side quests. It did mean I have more money than God at the end, there wasn't anything I couldn't buy ingame.

Was this a continual gaming session over a month or so, or did it take you a year to do like it did me with Zelda?

i've still not completed Wind Walker, let alone Twilight Princess :p
I tend to get distracted, and forget about games unless i'm able to play them undisturbed on a regular basis.

if i enjoy the game then ill finish it asap, either that or i just dont bother haha :D

saying that ive had phantom hour glass since us release date and not finished that yet (but intend to) so tahts like what 1-2 months? running out of time these days :)

Lol. It is worth the effort. The final boss battle(s) are a tribute to that Spaceworld vid from 2000. Wind Waker I completed fairly quickly. To be honest, I couldn't put it down. Mind you, I was a lazy student back then.

Just thought, I've got Paper Mario on the GC to complete. On the very final level, and have been since the Christmas it was released. I think I've got a fear of completing a game, as if I condemn it to never seeing it again! :D
