If we count non console games, probably Ultima Online - at a guess in the region of 3000+ hours over 7 years.
That includes about 2-3 hours a night at an in game "tavern" for about 2 years.
I think i managed to get her final limit break after she had died , bit pointless there then.
Have never managed to get round to killing Ruby Weapon on it though, should really give it another shot, my current save just before Sephiroth is on 70 hours i think, just levelling up in the north crater as the pots give shedloads of XP.
I don't have a time in hours from the game, because it was a while ago. But I started working away when the game was released, so only got to play every other fortnight. And obviously, When i'm away for 2 weeks, I also need to see family and friends, So i had play time of maybe a few hours every 2 weeks? As I said, I dont remember exactly how long it took. But you do the math
I am still going on Never Winter Nights (The first one) and I got it on release day!!! Keep going back to it, play for a few hours then don't touch it for months.
Oblivion took me around 150 hours to complete, as I decided to do as much as I could before doing the main quest line. I think I still had to go back to finish off some guild stuff though, can't quite remember.
I have Beyond Good and Evil on the X-box and have not touched it for months. Got about halfway or a little more through and then stopped.
Played F.E.A.R till about the third level then got bored of the repetetion and stopped.
Now playing original Half Life and have gotten about 5 levels in (loving it btw) but again, untouched for about 2 weeks.
The reason? I blame online multiplayer. I love UT2004 and play regular matches of FREON and ONS. Team Fortress 2 is also rocking my world right now. You cannot compare the buzz of human opponents to AI. Not to say SP games are useless.
So to answer your question, the game that took me the longest to finish was Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox (also incidentally one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had). I played till the last stage and then realised I needed a lot of money to equip myself for the last battles (man they were tough!) so I basically stopped playing normally and would only drop in every now and then to grind. It was 2 years before I got back to it this summer and annihalated that last section
With me i think i may have only completed one non-stratagy game that was "Master of Magic" on the Spectrum. took 10 hours i think. Thats no saves no pause button no nothing. Was a great game.
Nowadays i play mainly stratagy games like CIV and the Total War games so i dont see completeing them as anything special. And as for Online games, well EVE i have been playing for 18 months now non-stop i havent won yet but im trying.
Neverwinter Nights, on and off three and a half years. Still have the expansion packs to do and Neverwinter Nights 2 has been sitting in my rack since my sis bought it for my birthday in Oct '06
Took me around a year to get back to half life 2, that was due to me getting a 360 inbetween that period I think and getting bored of the game =/ (My pc hardware is pretty bad too)
