What is the oldest part of your PC?

Mouse is about 5 years old, (G500) then probably a Samsung 840 ssd which is around 2 years old. Board, cpu, ram and PSU are all second hand as well.

Q6600 approaching 8 years old, as is the Asus P5Q Pro mobo it's installed in. But my backup HDD is older, from my previous system - a 640GB WD Black that's still going strong.

Going to be building something new soon, probably will wait for Broadwell-E though.

I bought most of it at the same time in 2012 I think, although the motherboard died so I'd say the 3570k CPU, Cooler mater Storm sniper case & RAM are the oldest

As far as major components go - a PSU bought in December '09, 600W Coolermaster. It's now powering the third build since I bought it.

As far as peripherals....my wheel and pedals. An ancient MS Sidewinder set that I bought in 1999 for Grand Prix Legends (I'd been using the keyboard up until then, not exactly the easiest of racing sims to control that way!). Only had minor repairs over the years (wiring, a switch or two) in spite of all the hammer that it's had.

I've got an old Aopen 150W power supply i use for powering my D5 when I'm leak testing my watercooling setups. It was taken from an old computer at work and is over 15 years old. Still works perfectly for what i use it for :-)

Fairly new to the PCMR so my build is when I joined this forum! Sometime back in 2014 so around 18 months? Newest bit is the sm951 nvme! Oldest is probs my mx 100 ssd which was my old boot drive!
