Hi all,
I installed a new F3 1TB and decided to test it using HDTune - I seem to be getting very low dips in the read speed - as low as 50MB/s minimum (140-150 max) - using the benchmarking mode
I thought it was the drive, so I tried my original (identical) drive and got similar results.
Specs:
i7 920 (stock)
6GB
Gigabyte UD5 (rev1)
So I wondered about updating the Sata drivers, I haven't updated them since building the machine a couple years ago...
I was wondering, what is the best way to install the drivers?
Do I have to uninstall the old ones first?
Bit unsure about messing with drivers for that stuff, so any help is appreciated
Thanks for your help guys
