What is the worst part of your computer?

As the title suggests. I'll go first.
MY rig is in my sig; but for me, the worst part is an 8 year old 14" monitor that can't go above 1024x768 resolution. I can't even watch 3dmark06, as it's run in 1280x1024!

The second worst part is the harddrives. I have a Maxtor Diamondmax 20GB and a Seagate 40GB IDE, both ATA100 I believe! :eek:

but being slightly less melodramatic, i could hugely increase its ability by increasing the RAM to 2GB (2gb DDR1

) but as im in the process of creating a c2d machine that would be completely pointless

Monitor too. crappy 17" CRT that I got for £3 on the bay. Hopefully will be looking at a 24" soonish though. And I have a philips brilliance 19" but it's sitting about 10000 miles away. Will be back using it in a few weeks though, after 2 years.

Mobo. DFI NF4 Ultra D. It's great really but there's a Vista bug where sleep doesn't work properly and ends up BSOD'ing.

Defo the monitor - a second hand NEC 17" LCD, does the job very well but really showing its age, I'm reluctant to upgrade though because that means I'll have to upgrade the GFX as well to keep up with the game!!

Also am using crappy Logitech wireless keyboard, can't justify spending £30+ on one though which seems to do nothing but take up more of your desktop space.

the only thing im not satisfied about is that my case doesnt have a mobo tray, (thermaltake armour) appart from that everything is legiterment.

HDs I suppose, 2 x 250gb (one IDE) Could do with a couple Samsung 500GB T166 drives.

Maybe my 7800GT, starting to show its age.

I fitted a WC fit in the hope that it would quite down but its still too loud for me. Think I might need a fan controller for the 2 fans on it.

my motherboard, rig in sig...... dont EVER get one, ordering a BFG 680i again tomorrow, gonna make a vid of me torching my asus striker extreme, worst board i have ever used.

nope, after rebuild, it just gave up, before it wouldnt boot due to the dreaded "DET DRAM" on the lcd poster, very rare it would boot, and after re build it is not giveing "CPU INIT" and wont boot..... ever..... but my case mods are finally finished, ill go take some pics actually.... brb

The strikers a good MB if you can avoid it breaking

I fried one as well trying to flash the BIOS but after an RMA I'm working fine
