What is this strange bug/insect, please identify :)

Hey all, just spotted this !!! Never seen one before, interesting creature, any ideas what it is ? Sort of looks like a cross between a moth and a bee. Phone pic, so best I could get - its moth grey pattern at the front, black and white bum/tail and orange wings, large proboscis feeding on flowers about the length of its body.

I've never understood this thing about limiting image sizes, seems strange on a forum dedicated to the latest PC hardware and where more than a few members have monitors that are easily capable of displaying the image.
