Just bought Saxo no.3.

22k miles, 1 owner from new, only used in dry weather, garaged rest of time. Its like a brand new T reg car. Proper engine this time. Running it alongside the 106 DIEsel while I save up for a proper car :p

Sell the 106 diesel for £500. You won't use £500 more fuel running the VTS, you'll save cash on insurance, and you can smile again!

I get free fuel if I use a diesel for work. I don't care if it gets battered into a kerb while im driving home knackered etc etc. I'm insured on the 106 fully comp and my dad has added the VTS to his direct line policy for an extra £70p/a and I'll drive it DOC until I get 2nd years no claims and decide what I'm doing.

Why would someone only use a Saxo in the dry? It's hardly a weekend car, is it? ;)

They're nice cars, but after being out in a few, was fairly dissapointed at the performance of them.

Looks in really good condition though, any more pics?

Was just about to post the same really. Its hardly ever gonna be a classic.. TBH no current cars which arent "special" in some way these days will ever ammount into a classic "sought" after car.

Was for him, will be pretty much for me too.

I wasn't dissapointed with my vtr's performance, so with an extra 1000rpms, close ratio gear box, wider powerband and 20 extra bhp should be more than enough for me.

(mk1 front end = :):))

I'll get some pics when I pick it up tomorrow but its 100% mint all over.

You can't do that though, DOC doesnt cover cars owned by yourself.

Hmm bugger, well I pick it up tomorrow so might just sign it in my dads name? But then thats an extra owner when I swap it over to me.

registered keeper is whats on the log book

thats different from registered owner,

get your dad to pay for it :) but have you as the registered keeper.
