Ok when using the touchpad on my laptop to move the cursor it is jumping and jittering and all sorts. any ideas what can be causing this? sometimes when im moving my cursor shakes loads and doesnt stop... getting really annoying now

disable your touchpad and use an external mouse
mines a vaio too mate. i pay 12.99 a month to a certain lot of people who wear purple shirts.. will be calling them monday to get this sorted... i am using a external mouse
im having problems even moving the mouse.. and yes the touchpad is clean as it was the day i got this.

lol yeah exactly the same problem i had with my 1st vaio...then went and got a 2nd one which im using now, but since i installed vista my cursor jumps back to the begining of a sentence and end up typing the end of my sentence half way through the begining of the sentence
