I like my parker jotter Originals, click button means it can be safely put in my pocket and no leaks. Cheap enough to replace often when misplaced or nicked.. My job requires a lot of initials and signatures and not a lot of actual note writing, ink inserts never runs out before it goes missing.

Like yourself I use the Parker Jotters with the replacement black fine refills.

If I go into the office then I use a cheap BIC Orange Fine Point (0.8 mm), if someone five fingers it then its cost me about 18p as I buy em in bulk.

Whatever cheap pens my workplace has bought by the box. Which will probably be something it overpaid for because that's how it works. Arrangements with specific companies to overpay for stuff from them. Not stuff they make that might be better quality, more durable, whatever. They're just resellers at a markup. A bigger markup than other resellers in the open market charge for the same product with the same delivery.

Even cheap disposables don't leak nowadays, in my experience. There's a selective magic for pens in my workplace that makes them disappear somehow, so anything more expensive is a waste. I blame relatives of the pixies that steal socks from washing machines :)

I have those BIC yellow pens I keep in my bag/car/desk.

In my travel pack I have some freebie from a barrister's Chambers.

For my own pockets, I have a few Fisher Space Pens. The inserts aren't the best in terms of your writing experience, so do shop around for some that suit you, maybe watch a few Nick Shabazz videos... but the pens themselves are nicely compact and great in the hand.
For most other situations I'll just do like the Romans and nick whatever resources are local.

I'm quite embarrassingly particular about my pens. My all-around go-to for taking notes would be a Uni Jetstream 4-colour body with Uni UMR-109 0.38mm gel refills. Definitely a bit of a faff though (have to buy the refills online, and need to snip the ends to make them fit)

If signing documents though, I prefer something a bit thicker and smoother - Jetstream 1mm or something like that. You can get these easily on the high street.

Jetstream 1mm are the best, comfortable to use and quick drying

I'm not particularly fussed, currently using a Zebra Z-grip 'smooth', just because it's what the supermarket had in that was cheap when I last needed a new pen. Works well enough

On my desk is a LAMY AL-star Ballpoint Pen. The only pen I carry is the built-in S Pen in my phone.
