what is your favourite chinese takeaway called?

We have three chinese takeaways, 2 indians takeaways, 3 chip shops all in a tiny village/town and a Tai resturant about 2 minutes out of the village.

The chinese takeouts are called Oriential Gardens, New Gardens and Debbies Red Lantern

Ho Ho is our local Chinese, very expensive (you're looking at £20 / head) but very tasty, and like our local Indian and Thai (or indeed because of them), make a big thing about their food being MSG free. :)

Is that the one in South Woodford?

If so HoHo is terrible, i recommend Empress takeaway in front of the cinema just across road from them

It's between two,

"Bens Takeaway" for actual take away - sweet chilli beef from there is fantastic
"HK Haus" for sitting in meals, very expensive but fantastic food, chicken is always cooked to absolute perfection!

EDIT: there is one other actually, it's an all you can eat for £9.95:
Angel Chef

but it's a few miles away and as good as the food is it's not as good as the other two

New Dynasty

Another challenger for best take away, a little more expensive than some but the portions are mighty and the taste is plentiful.

they are all rubbish where I live, and all churn out the same carp - its identical stuff. I dont bother with take-aways anymore - I live too far away for them to be convenient tbh, so I have had to learn to cook them myself ;)

Mandarin Chef. I work there so probably biased.

If anyone in the Leicester area orders from there, quote 'OCUK' while placing your order and I'll give you some freebies! :D:p
