McDonalds - Alright, some of the deli burgers are nice. I like the McFlurrys and the coffee.

Burger King - I rarely go but don't see it as anything special. They seem expensive too.

KFC - Vile and expensive. I have bought something small from these maybe twice in the last year but only because it seems to be the place of choice for my friends. Both times the meal was horrible.

Pizza Hut - Not been for a long time but I usually enjoy the pizza. Shame the bases aren't made fresh.

Pizza Express - Voted for this. Are a little more on the pricey side but I really like the pizzas + salads. The restaurants are usully nice.

Dominos - They are ok. Only have one if a group of mates are. Expensive though.

Papa Johns - Had one once when I went to Edinburgh a few years back. Enjoyed it, but I can't really remember much else about it as it was that long ago.

Perfect Pizza - Never heard of it.

Nando's - Heard of it but have never been.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen - Never heard of it.

Subway - used to go loads and enjoyed it. Not been so much recently but they have put the prices up and the ones I've been to no longer do sweetcorn, which is complete fail. Gone off them.

Dont eat a lot of fast food and not into these new fancy upmarket places, if I want a sit down meal I will go to a proper restaurant, cheaper, fresher food and better atmosphere

Tried a few Nando sauces from Asda, dont see what the rave is about the sauce, very bland.

That's like saying I've been to the Blackpool and think Vegas is rubbish.

and show us a proper restaurant that serve cheaper food than Burger King (if you think that is expensive !).

meh, apart from the popular ones you are looking into going Manchester/Liverpool, I hate cities, to busy and full of ignorant ****s

I have no idea what has cities has anything to do with your opinion that Burger King is expensive.

I went to BK in Waterloo station for some food to eat in the IMAX. I bought a Fish Filet large meal and onion rings. £14+

McDonalds - Chips are good, burgers are substandard
Burger King - burgers are great, chips are terrible
KFC - mmmmmmmm love KFC
Pizza Hut - lunch time all you can eat makes it ok
Pizza Express - not eaten at a pizza express
Dominos - I find it depends on how busy the place is, some times the pizza taste great, other times terrible. Also, cheesecake HAS a biscuit base. No biscuit base so its NOT CHEESECAKE!!!
Papa Johns - not bad actually, can see why people rate it
Perfect Pizza - not tried
Nando's - Not had a bad experience, wish they delivered :(
Gourmet Burger Kitchen - pricey but worth it
Subway - Will never understand why people like subway, far too much bread not enough content
Other:
TGI's - love love love

Given all that, I'd have:

BK Double Whopper with cheese
McD's chips
KFC 3 pieces
TGIs Oreo thickshake.

Now please.

I usually go to Eat. If not, look for a Boots and grab the meal deal. A Higgidy quiche, veg crisps and a 750ml bottle of water for £3.

I've not eaten at MCDonalds, Burger King, KFC or Pizza Hut in years. My last memories of all three were awful. The last time I went to Pizza Express it was 'meh'. Probably the best of the places in the poll, but it was nothing to write home about. I'm not fussed either way about Dominos or Perfect Pizza, the supermarkets do better pizzas in their chilled cabinets for a lot less money and they don't exactly take long to cook. I've never eaten at GBK or Papa Johns. Subway sell sandwiches that are (IMO) way inferior to those sold elsewhere for less. After hearing people rave about Nandos for years I went a few months back. Bland. They also made a big fuss about how spicy the 'extra hot' was. It arrived, it wasn't. I left underwhelmed.

McDonalds is definitely superior to Burger King. I go once or twice a year, but always enjoy the Mcdonald's burgers more than BK.

Dominos is massively over-rated. I find most takeaway pizzas pretty bad because I judge them all against my local at home in Leeds, which makes pizzas that are an order of magnitude nicer than any chain.

Nando's - I don't understand the popularity. It's really expensive and not that tasty.

Subway is excellent. Loads of choice, quite reasonably priced and quick.

Voted Subway.

What?! I am going to have to completely disagree with you!
BK spanks the McD burgers. A Whopper is much nicer than a Big Mac.
Big Macs are nice though

Dominos, love the pizza base and BBQ sauce. Also there's always a voucher kicking around online so it's pretty cheap!

McDonalds is good for when I'm starving and have nothing decent nearby so just grab the double cheeseburgers, decent value for money. Burger King has really put me off with some of their local branches around my area, I mean reheating a burger in a microwave and not even hiding that from me? KFC has been really on and off between the quality of food in different branches, if you ever go into one in Newcastle you'd probably be put off for life, whole place just looks filthy.

Pizza Hut has ranged from decent to completely overpriced and dreadful tasting on top. Forgetting to put the actual spices on a spicy £17 pizza is criminal not to mention that rest tasted like cardboard. Other pizza places were decent but overpriced compared to local competition. I think I'm just a little picky with my pizza, I've only ever found one take away to produce a good pizza not counting proper restaurants.

Subway can be good but it's ridiculously overpriced and I wouldn't go unless I had a voucher or there was a special offer on. Only place I haven't got round to going (no idea why) is Nando's.

Only ever been to the top 4. :( There isn't much in the way of fast food out in the sticks and if I am paying the amount of money some of these places charge I'd rather go to a good pub tbh. ie Dominos is outrageously priced - even on its bogof nights it's over twice the price of other good local alternatives and you can just about go to a decent restaurant for the money.
