7. You cannot casually play, if you do it's a noobs game, if you can't you're not devoted enough and will fall behind everyone else in the game for equipment you actually need to compete. You must set aside that saturday to take part in a 8 hour raid, screw real life.
10. Too many kids with few social skills.
Well most people who have every Saturday free are kids!?

Anyway. I really loved wow but I gave up just before TBC. I just realised that to get to where I though I deserved to be would require me to give up my life. I just was not prepared to sacrifice my job, health, way of life for it. I still challenge anyone who says you can play that game part-time and get the best out of it. It became a job. Sold the account, but I do think back to it more than is healthy, really is worse than Heroin for screwing you up.

Played EQ2 - Was very good if you could get a group, masses of content, but the graphics were and still are awful, just doesnt feel immersive.
EVE - Different but found it a bit odd
Tabula Rasa - Not bad had big potential and could have been a really good game, but developers seemed to loose the plot.
LOTRO - Probably the best after WOW, I am back playing it.
All in WOW was the best for me. But I really do wish at times I have never played it or seen it. It sucks you in, chews you up, then when its done spits you out a total wreck. It is no surprise to me or most people here that gaming addiction is growing, and is quite possibly the worst addiction there is.
But tbh all mmo's after playing wow feel flat and I can't get excited about them.
