What is your favourite voice chat application for gaming?

Discord is my favorite. Its still lacking a lot of features and I worry about what happens when they inevitably run out of their VC funding but until then its an easy choice.

Wouldn't say it's my favourite but with the guild it's TS3 due to it being paid till 2017. If it's just a few of us then Skype.

Ts3, keep trying others then come back to Ts3, though I still think Mumble is brilliant.

Not tried discord but seems to be quite popular as all new VoIP are, time will tell.

I agree. Mumble is fantastic. a lot of web/server hosting services will host you one for free too.

I've already got a VPS for a couple of websites I run so was going to just host my own Mumble server as it wouldn't cost anything extra to run. I think I'll go with Mumble especially as now I have figured out the whole ACL thing. It should handle what I want to throw at it just fine.

I've not had a chance to try Discord yet.

The main two that I use is Mumble and TeamSpeak, out of the two I prefer TeamSpeak as it seems to have less issues. I also quite like the OverWolf integration with games via TS as it's often useful to have a little display in your game of who's speaking.

haha first ever gaming comms i came across was vent lol didnt like it much

but Mumble is ok for win xp comps and 150+ users and good for walkie talkies on your phone But mainly used for 200+ as it works well with high numbers

i like teamspeak 3 better .. more settings ,, easly run a 400 man server on a 1.8 Atom kimsufi server for £4.50 a month (tricky bit is getting windows on it :P)

My Wot clan run's on TS3, has done with out issue really baring a few technical issues, for pver 3 years so far every night.

Trying to get into Discord as a few streams I mod on use it, but it's justa pain
