I also find some words rather irksome to write. Words such as 'curious' which just...look...wrong.

Develop is the one that always does for me. Looks wrong without an e and still looks wrong with one. Develope.

My least favourite words are any that can be shoehorned into non-specific management waffle or advertising.
Things like 'leveraged', 'capability' and 'system' or 'technology'.

eg We will add value to the system by leveraging appropriate descriminated technology capability.
or
[Insert cosmetic product] now with revolutionary non-specific technology and 15% more shine/lustre/tautness/aroma/other unquantifiable characteristic.

Ergh, now I'll have to shower for even typing those sentences.

Fantastic

I absolutely HATE this word!

Only started a few months ago when someone I know used it pretentiously to describe anything great - now I just notice it everywhere :(

So for a bit of fun on this otherwise rather dull friday night I ask the people of OcUK, what is your least favourite word?

Obviously this is without swear words or breaking any of our forums rules! :p

I think one of my least favourite has to be glistening, and I'm sure a lot of my girlies here will agree with me!

So, what's yours? And remember,

, I don't want any swear words, text speak etc!
(oh) Bless !

"Banter" is an awful work that seems to be interchanged for "chat" all the time. Especially in the context of "work banter", "great banter" etc. Word does my head in.
