What is your passion?

I'm one of those that has, unfortunately, let basically anything that brings me joy (and as a result, could develop in to a passion) drop to the side lines as I've grown older. It's a bloody terrible idea. You eventually start to forget what you even like, or even how to like things. Do not recommend.

Mid life crisis? Probably.

I think as you get older, especially as you move to semi-retirement, your life moves from being passionate about certain things, to finding things to fill you time.

My time-fillers are:-
keeping the garden from being overrun
some gym work
going on holiday a few times a year.

I say this, with the caveat that family and work have taken up more and more of my time, and obviously the former is clearly fulfilling. Not sure if anyone can really say they're "passionate" about their family though, seems a bit of a given and not really fitting the term. Probably just a symptom of real adulthood vs what came before, undoubtedly can be managed better to prevent burnout/maintain things and not fall in to a strange brain state.

2 Things. PC's (the reason why I'm here) & Decent Coffee. What little time I have these days is looking for decent places to drink a nice cup of Coffee wherever I happen to be at the time and have the time to go there, or looking to buy good Coffee beans at a reasonable price, that's getting difficult now. The average price since I started down this road in 2012 has Tripled.

being an audiophile, and surfing and country walks and spending every friday morning watching dvds ,you saw the crecent i saw the whole of the moon:)
My post from 09 hasn't changed much,.then I had a seasonal caravan pitch down here and 2 kids at home , I walk more now as it's 100 times nicer down here , don't get in the water as often as I should,.the dvds replaced with streaming
On the downside I .feel I am waisting too much time at work , I need human contact as I tend to be a lone wolf but 4.5 days at my age isn't the ideal balance

Usually some sort of sport. That changes occasionally from one to another. I need to exercise or I go a bit peculiar. I work from home so I need something that gets me out and moving.

I would love to have more hobbies but outside of work, children and running a house there is little time for more than a single hobby.

Quite a few interests really :)

Cooking with the Mrs (exciting I know)
Computers / tech
Movies
Music (not so much anything modern)
Running
Watches (old style mechanical)
Football (watching rather than playing)
Cats (our two ragdolls)

Don't think I missed anything :p
