What ISP you using?

Blueyonder : I've been with them since day one, it died on day 2 nationally if anyone remembers that far back? It's fast reliable and good value. Who would I change to ? I've got no reason to but if I did as i'm in a non LLU area it'd have to be AOL as all the rest have FUP/Cap's that would cause me issues one way or another.

Demon
8mb max adsl uncapped
24/7 technical support, although they're not the sharpest tool in the box
connected at 7mb, download speeds vary from 100 to 650kbps
fairly content with ISP

MW

Freedom 2 Surf

No problems whatsoever with restrictions since I consider downloading 15gig a day a "quiet" day. I constantly get my 820kbs down, 24/7

One.Tel

Should be getting 2MB, only getting 1MB. Get free evening and weekend calls. Unlimited downloads, and I love their service. Been with them for about a year and 4months now.

Be* Unlimited 24Mb ADSL2+

No problems with it yet, can sync at 20 Megeabits down and 1.6 Megabits up. I really love the high upload speed, it makes a difference after been stuck with 256k for over 4 years. I can achieve an average of 2150k/s from a fast server.

BT
I'd like to change to UKOnline or Pipex.
Although I appreciate all ISPs will have users with bad experiences, Pipex seem to have more than their fair share.

I'm currently with them and it's been a total farce. I joined in July and they still haven't activated my call package. Of course they didn't tell me that, I found out when the BT bill came through this month listing all these calls I thought had been free.

Nor have they taken a penny from my account. Which is okay until the day they take £150 out of the blue, by which point it's very hard to work out if this is the correct amount. They've already admitted making a mistake (overcharge) on my first invoice.

The broadband itself has been decent though... once I worked out how to do that torrent encryption thing.

In the past I've had great experience with Telewest and F2S. I'd love to get cable, but for some reason, despite living in London, I can't!

So.. Pipex, No, Telewest. :)

im with freedom 2 surf...

they are ok, but i'm supposed to be on 8MB but i only ever get about 200kbps download max, maybe its not their fault maybe it is i don't know

i've just signed up for the 8MB sky package :) £5 per month with a 40gig cap... pretty damn sure i wont hit that...

Bit of a long story, suffice to say their 1st line techies know less than the average punter on here.

Sorry to hear that seeing as I work for Zen. If you want me to look into something for you just let me know.

I have Zen and it works fine.

Plusnet for over 12 months now. My son plays online games, I do a wee bit of P2P (out of peaktime) and have not had any problems or downtime apart from a couple of email niggles when Plusnets mail server went wobbly.

NTL 10Mb

Been good for the most part though recently it's been poor. Might just be due to traffic shaping or oversubscribed UBR (iirc I'm on Renfrew).
