Well this fell out..
Do I need thermal paste, What is it? Northbridge southbridge
Some kind of heatsink
Could I superglue it?
What should we do?

There should be soldered clips on the pcb for it to clip back into, hopefully they've not broken off? Yes you'll likely need some TIM there.

Re-clip it back on, but check the under side of the cooler to see how much paste is there, it might be just a thermal pad.

It'll work ok. Does the clip hold in fine? Personally i'd use some arctic silver two part epoxy to make it permanent if the clips didn't hold. Yellow TIM is likely spent and dried out.

i will put a pic up

Put a dot and spread it with a credit card or something, thats how i did/do bare core cpus. It's does not have to be as precise as with a cpu as i doubt the heat output is that substantial with a passive sink used.

ok, thanks
so
1) Buy the thermal paste and solder the clip
2) apply the paste
3) Clip the heat sink back in
4) Happy days,
Will it come on thursday (this is the living room PC)

Depends on the thermal output. Might be fine, might cause instability or might cook itself and smoke. No idea as i don't know what particular chip it is.
