What keeps biting me!

My cat had fleas a while back - I de-flead the cat and after a coupel fo days they were gone from the cat. However, my slippers were infested with fleas. I didn't think fleas could like on something like that, how wrong was I?
 
Do you have a cat or a dog - really sounds like fleas.
My cat got fleas from a neighbour's cat in the middle of summer a few years ago and I didn't catch them fast enough, ended up with lots of little bites around the top of my sock line as they get into the carpets really quickly :(. Industrial strength flea spray from the vets for the win;)

i get heat spots on my ankles and my thighs in the summer, they itch a little just wear my sock ends rub on my leg and my jeans stick in the heat. but sounds like fleas - flea bomb the room and see what happens
 
Could be fleas, we have cats, but nobody else has been biten?

Ive tried wearing socks in bed too lol. ive got them all round my ankle and foot, some up my leg, one on my back, and two on my arm, MUST SCRATCHHHHHH

I dont have any "none scratched" pics but it does look like a mossy bite, a lump thats a whitish color, and then it get scratched into blooooood
 
Fleas.

You can deflea your cat but they will still live on the furniture for ages.

Right so first nuke the cats, then fumigate everywhere.

Now off to google to see how to stop the painnnnnnnnnnnnn
 
Horsefly's!?? Been near horses?

I complained at work a few years back as I was getting flea bites. They got the pest people in which was quite embarrassing.

It turned out that I was cycling near horses and got horse fly bites.. not fleas after all.

Never lived it down :(
 
I tend to get bitten a lot more than the rest of my family while on holiday. I found that eating lots of garlic based food helped a lot.

Just got back from google (lol) and after looking at pics of lots of flea bites, it looks nothing like them. If anything they look like midge bites looking at pics

Funny you should say that, the past few months ive started biking to work, and do cycle past horses
 
spider, bed bugs, fleas..

clean your room, vacuum your matress, wash the duvet, etc.
and change your sheets :p
