The keyboard and mouse are the at the front line when it comes to interfacing with your computer, so what do you use?

Do you use an old setup which you have grown to love, and are attached to?

Or do you always strive to use the latest and greatest?

For the mouse, I personally use a CM Storm Sentinel Advance 1 which I have had for a number of years. The rubber finish was ruined so I peeled it off and sanded the plastic to make it "grippy" and 3 metal mesh parts have rusted away from palm sweat to date. (Coolermaster customer service are very good and send me a new one if I complain that it has gone rusty :p)

For the keyboard I now use a Ducky Shine II TKL with Cherry MX-Blacks and O-Rings and I love it. I had previously (about 2 months ago) used a Noppoo Choc Mini with MX-Browns, and before that (about a year ago) I used a Logitech G510. Previously to this I just used whatever generic keyboard I came to, usually a Dell.

Keyboard wise Ozone Strike with cherry blacks, replaced a cherry oem branded keyboard with cherry clears I'd had for years before that. Before that used the g2k keyboard that came with my original gateway 2k PC in late 90s.

Mouse Zowie FK Pro, replaced the original WMO 1.1a I'd had for years, previous to that used the original ms ball mouse.

Logitech g500 mouse and an ozone strike pro with cherry red keys, noise dampened with o rings below the keys. But the keyboard is a disaster, it cuts out on desktop and mid game. Doesnt matter if its connected to a usb 2/3 port on rear of my case. Shame as when it works its a nice board to use. But it will be going in the bin soon.

Pictures people, it makes life so much easier! :D

K400 since mine's a Gaming/HTPC hybrid now:

K700 if I really need to but hate the mouse for gaming:

Well folks ask but peripheral tech changes along with opinions so frequently so there's nothing wrong with asking.

I had a honeymoon period with my G9x mouse until I realised it was claw grip only (unless you have lady hands), ridiculously small and uncomfortable placement for the two fore fingers.

Look how close the fingers need to rest against the thumb! Ridiculous.

In fact, I told a friend with similar stature who was raving about his G9x and a few weeks later he text "I hate you... I need a new mouse." So bloody expensive for something that sits in a LAN bag now.

I'm posting on an 8" tablet atm - not so easy to sort pics :p

Reminds me, on my tablet I use a Logitech "Wireless Trackpad" (the £15 seemingly un-named USB one) and a Logitech K810 BlueTooth Keyboard (which was great once it was working)

Got a packard bell glow kb400 keyboard I picked up for a song many years ago in an eol sale for my tablet, though mostly use the onscreen keyboard for casual use. Along with another Zowie FK mouse.

Shame I really like mine with blacks but I've read a few complaints of the the pro with red cutting out, wonder what the difference is. I've always ran mine through a KVM though so possible its masking a possible issue there. (EDIT: Know of 1-2 hardcore gamers with the same model as mine who swear by it and no complaints of cutting out though)

Pic of the ozone strike pro, great kb when it works. Which unfortunately it doesnt do very consistently. Mid game it will disconnect. Will be fine for a few days, then it will disconnect 5 times in an hour. Hence its going into the bin.

Ill go back to my old more power hungry logitech g15 rev 1.

Anyone use a mouse with the quick DPI (sniper) thumb button? Sounds excellent but I can imagine it being just a gimmick like all the faff with the G9x.

Is a warranty replacement an option, or is that a common issue?
This is my second strike pro, first one was rma'd for the same issue. It done it 20 times per hour, this one only does it a few times a week. Still very annoying though.

Never personally found gimmicky/complex feature mice an advantage, keeping it simple and effective works better for me.

G500 mouse here, well pleased with it though it needs new feet as the current ones are pretty worn. Dont use setpoint drivers from logitech, just let windows sort it out and it suits me grand.

That G502 looks lovely... oooo it has a DPI shift button too.

Is it the same form as the G500 (love the size) only with a few extra features?

corsair k90 [with none of the buttons programmed :p ] and a rat5

the sniper button is a good idea, but someone at saitek didn't account for my hilariously short thumbs rendering it useless for me.

previously i used whatever i could get me hands on.
