Alternatives to swift key?
Mines gone to poo as I refuse to back up my key stokes to Microsoft.
'give us your data or we'll nerf your keyboard'
Yeah, no.

I guess I could use stock Google /android keyboard but I don't find it very good.

Anyone using anything decent?

Futo have just released their new swipe model for their keyboards if you are concerned about data its a good bet. https://keyboard.futo.org/

Another vote for Futo. It's a little rough in some areas but getting better.

Stand out feature is the speech to text for me. Runs entirely locally and does an amazing job, I use it a lot on windy hillsides when my hands are too cold or too wrapped up for typing.

Stock android/Google kb isn't terrible, but I much prefer swift key (not for swipes /gestures I can't be assed with that).. I just find it a lot nicer to use

Until Microsoft ruined it by data mining everything I type. They basically made it rubbish unless you agree to upload all your keystrokes 'to the cloud' which is a massive security risk, IMO.
