I know we got experts of everything on this board so i might as well ask..

you might have seen my previous spider pic on the spiders thread.. thers about 5 of them near me i aint killed them yet but if noticed this fella walking around tonight

they hunt bugs actively. very nice spiders because they don't make webs.

Is it cool that i put them outside then? When we moved the shed there was like 8 of ones similar in size to the OP one if not a bit bigger.

Got one in my room the other night and i put it outside.....hope it wont die.

You should be considerate and put them right outside someone else's house, so they can scurry inside if they can't live outdoors.

Well i was considerate enough not to kill him when he stormed into my room thinking he was meatloaf....he ****** off down the side fo the steps outside,he has a multitude of houses he can go into around here.

IIRC they die within a few hours of being put outside :(.

I'm getting sick to death of stupid spider threads like this one tbqfh! If it were interesting spiders I wouldn't mind but they are almost always about these common as muck house spiders...

I talk to spiders in my home, explaining the rules to them. The rules are simple - they can live here safely, eating flies and other nasties, as long as they stand still while I can see them. Seeing them move gives me the willies. Too many legs.

There's one living by my front door that's a bit too much. It wouldn't fit on the palm of my hand (not that I'd want it there). Its body is at least half an inch long and it has eyes that I can see, on stalks or something. I don't want spiders with eyes I can see. Creepy. It has legs like pipe cleaners, not spindly spider-legs. It isn't round, unlike the other spiders in my home. It's the only one in the front room. I think it's eaten the others, or scared them off.

Looking around online, I think it's a wolf spider that's made a convenient home just inside my house.

House spiders do make webs but not the same as a garden spider stretched across something.

House spiders wont die a few hours after being put outside, unless a nearby cat likes to eat them.

Angilion - pics please.

Oooh, I had one of these running around on my floor while I was watching Jaws the other week. I went to give my dog something to eat, the next thing I see is this big bugger of a spider waving its legs in the air before moving at the speed of sound to the other side of the living room. They do seem quite aggressive.
