What kind of spider is this?

I got rid of one just like that last night, threw it down a gully outside the house. i hope it doesn't decide to come back through the bath plug hole to get it's revenge!

I wonder if he's given it a name yet?

I once found a spider in the morning before college, put a glass over it, left it, came back after home after college and it had gone! i was like wtf!!

I remember the scariest moment of my life was when i was decorating and had newspaper all over the floor to protect it.. i say down for a rest and i HEARD a spider walking around on the paper!! sureal!

No house spider will come up through the plughole, the overflow or any other such thing. When you find them in a sink or bath, it's because they fell in and can't get out because there isn't enough friction between their legs and the sides of the bath or sink.

An easy way to get them out without touching them is to pull off some toilet paper and drape it over the side, close to the spider. That gives them a high-friction ladder that they can climb up. Come back half an hour later and the spider has gone.

i dunno where it is but im paranoid of it crawling over me when im asleep
Unlikely. Spiders tend to avoid humans, as we're far too big to be prey. If you're that paranoid, shake out your bedding before getting in (easy if you have a duvet), just in case. If there isn't a spider under the covers when you get in, there probably won't be a spider in your bed at all because they will avoid your head. You know you don't eat spiders, but they don't.

Not sure if thats their proper name, everyone i know calls them that cos they always appear this time year. They spin big webs outdoors and can grow quite fat. I'll post some fighting pics later, maybe someone knows their true identity!

Garden 'Orb' Spider. They have a white cross on there abdomen and they always sit in the centre of the web.

It does sound like an orb spider. They're noted for being most visible in late summer and autumn, when they tend to hand around in big webs in gardens. Really big - a single orb spider can use a web three feet across. The females in particular get very big for British spiders.

Orb spiders have been known to bite people, so take a bit of care. The bite isn't dangerous, but it's not fun. Unless you're a masochist with a spider fetish, I suppose.

Dont worry about it getting in your mouth, you eat x-number of spiders/insects anyway.
In some foods, perhaps, but not in the "OMG spiders crawl in your mouth when you're asleep!!!!!" sense. It's an urban myth.
