What Lian Li case to get!???

System inside will be:-

Corsair HX520W
Gigabyte ds3
BFG 8800 GT
E6400
Scythe Miné Quiet Heatpipe CPU Cooler
4 x SATA HDs
1 IDE HD
1 SATA DVD Drive

Would like case to quiet as pos, as this will be also HTPC in a cinema room in the future.

Was thinking about a Lian Li v1100+ or Lian-Li PC-S80B. Though maybe something smaller would be more suitable?

Either of the LL case you have said are very good choices. The Eclipse really isn't when it comes to comparison with the higher priced LLs.

I'd personally probably go for the V1100+ as I prefer it's looks over the S80B. :)

Akasa Eclipse I would definetly say is better... much wider case, LLLLLoads of room with excellent cooling..:cool: Have a look at my *new* build that I have posted on my Akasa Eclipse Thread.. see how much roooooom there is..:cool:;)
 
My mate has the V1100+, it is truly immense, LOADS of space, great cooling, and looks fantastic...unlike the Eclipse.

I'm not a fan of the Eclipse if you didn't guess. :p

That's not really fair. When I bought my Eclipse it was a £75 case. Now it's a £90 case and that's maybe a bit too much. However - an S80B is almost double the price and half the size. Yes, they're gorgeous and my watercooled S80B is the last thing I'll ever part with, but for the money the Eclipse is decent value.

Don't let the front of the Eclipse fool you, no pictures can do justice.. Own one and you will never regret it...:cool: What case you got... post a pic... Go to my Akasa Thread, just finished building my new system, go and see what this case is capable off :)

Lian Li v1100+ here

I have a V1000 and my god its so sexy! and the case acts like a heat sink too lol its so cold in there :D
 
The 1100 Plus is a nice case and the build quality is fantastic. However if you are going to have a lot of stuff in it, it can get a bit cramped. Cable management also isnt the best. You would have to modify the motherboard mounting tray to run cable behind it. The main reason why i got this case though was for how it looks, i love it :p. Simple crisp lines :)
 
Well if he needs more space get the V2000+ :D you can fit everything in there no joke!

I'm finding it rather difficult to fit everything into my v2000 :eek:










(but then again, i do have dual loops each using a PA120.3 :D)
