Currently got a CBR125 '56 which I picked up for £900. Now I did a direct access thing so I can rid it without anything. However a friend wants to borrow it for a weekend as his moped is off the road, however can he ride it?

All he has is a CBT thing and has to go around on "L" Plates

Make sure he is fully comp or has enough cash as if he drops it the fairing will cost almost as much as you paid for the bike.

EDIT: How are you finding it?

Its nice to be on a bike again however not been on it much due to the weather and the textiles I borrowed not fitting 100%. It seems fairly fun however the back feels bumpy (only way to describe it) around corners. Also feels a little slow at top end (mainly due to the omega that goes fairly fast I guess) however it does the job and should be nice and cheap for commuting through the middle of dunstable (like a car park in the day time :()

Also he knows that if he stuffs it I'm getting the replacement/market price and not what I paid for it

is it quick enough to, say 30-40? thanks

Well I got it upto 60 but took a while to get there as the last gear/engine doesnt like it much, could also do with the fact im 16st

Think I will be selling and replacing with an older more powerful bike

I would have to agree with the 16st bit, but if you do sell assuming its in good nick you will get over a grand easily.
