What made your day today?

After recieving some seriously good news I have just had such a fantastic day. I am so happy... so what made your day today?

Finally recieved an offer from Bristol to study Environmental Geoscience. Dead chuffed as I missed my maths offer there last year and have been dreading being rejected because it's the place I wanted to end up. So happy to be going there for definite next year. Everything is perfect.

my boss has stopped telling me off regularly.

Finally figured her out. She is JUST like Gordon Ramsey in Hells kitchen.

Basically no matter what she says, answer 'Yes' or 'Leave it with me' or 'Sounds good'. The moment you object to anything no matter how right or wrong you are -- she sees it as a personal afront and will go for your jugular..

Figured that out -- now everythings cool :) In teh last job I could speak my mind -- took me a few weeks to realise that is the LAST thing my boss is interested in. Literally, her way or the highway. Which doesn't bother me in the slightest TBH - it's blimin' easy being a 'yes' man!

Congrats, I dead a similar degree! ended up in a watery job!!
 
Had a careers presentation from the MD of Coast FM, was very interesting and was pleased that I went. He even offered us work experience :)
 
Lost my job yesturday, but went to see a mate up the road. He hasnt worked for 15 years but has a house, car and sky+ also goes abroad twice a year.
Told me how to do it, now im set for life:D
 
Here's what RUINED my day today ... finding out that my dad is a grade A moron and decided that the best place to store the waffle iron was in a damp corner somewhere.

He seemed genuinely surprised when I took it out of the box and almost dropped it as there were creepy crawlies and worms living on it.


So no waffles for me today :(!!!!
 
Handing in my systems analysis and design portfolio, and free pancakes being delivered to my door by Christian Union!
