What "man jobs" have you done today?

Knocked out several bricks in the loft for the new joists to go in and removed one old chipboard floorboard that was rotting due to a leak in the roof(that should be sorted now after having a new aerial fitted and the guy hammered the lead flashing back down)

finally bought a cheap bosch pro drill and 103 piece assorted set to make a bug hotel for solitary bees etc
I didn;'t notice at the time but the set came with circle saws :O

I had my washing machines waste pipe coming out over the top of the machine, then down into the cupboard to the u-bend for years.
finally pulled it out and made a hole in the side of the cupboard :D

bug hotel I made was based on how this guy made the holes and finished them.

Been to Scewfix to pick up my Milwaukee 31bit hex kit I ordered Wednesday.
Yesterday when sorting out the tools I had from my brother I found a brand new Bosch 44 piece Titanium kit I didn't realise I had inherited.
Oh well - One for the house and one for garage. Can't have too many bits. - have already binned boxes of them -Mostly old Lidl/Aldi ones and all the rusty one from Bro.

Took the wife's car back to the garage after a service to get the service light switched off. Plus to get print out of the tracking and wheel alignment, which they couldn't do because they said there printer was broken. And they hadn't actually done the work.

Recycled some cherry from the wardrobes I ripped out a few weeks ago in to a windowsill.

Got this in situ over the weekend following the window change, some making good left to finish and architrave to attach. Shame this sill will be painted white it's lovely :(

Separately I have a pig of a job to take up about 30sqm of flooring in our hallway/utility that you can see above. It's a flexible thin vinyl style laminate that comes up without too much difficulty but is stuck to a self levelling screed which is laid on 6mm plywood with original floorboards underneath and skirting board surrounds. Part of me knows that the ply is stuck and/or screwed down, ffs.

I need to get under the hallway floor to be able to re-route flow/return feeds from hallway rads to the kitchen reno when that starts in about 7-8 weeks time.

That's a good idea and one I might do for the leaf cutter bees
