If i needed to bulid a fireplace in a studio, with a small fire in it, what materials would i use?

Stone is not an option.
EDIT: Due to the logistics of building an actual stone fireplace in a studio and then taking it down. It would take too long to dry etc...

Thanks

EDIT : Ok so maybe fibreglass wasn't such a good idea :(

I really doubt fiberglass if non-flammable. Infact it is likely to spread fibers in the air, which would be very dangerous.

Edit; How about sheet metal? Brushed Aluminium? Why is stone not an option?

metal or some kind of ceramics are only things i can think of, what about concrete (or not then-edit), I take it u mean like an art studio?

i think its non-flamable, inflamable is the same as flamable.

inflammable is NOT what you mean.

you mean non-flammable?

Inflammable means the opposite ;) lol

/edit beaten to it.....and these forums are quiet? lol

I thought just about anything would burn .... if you got it hot enough in an oxygen environment. That certainly includes many, if not all, metals. The issue is how hot "hot enough" is.

You can burn off the hydrogen in water by passing a current through it and setting it alight :p

Technically, no it won't - but burning metals are capable of breaking it down into hydrogen and oxygen, and using that oxygen to keep burning.
