Can I just ask something about the phone? I have the Orange version (3100) but I brought a mini sd card for it and it doesn't fit, now I can accept that being my fault and all but on the advert for it it claimed it was compatible with the orange 3000 series. I took that to mean it would include the models within that number collection. My question then is this , is the orange 3000 a separate phone from the 3100 (vario 2) therefore taking a different memory card?

Yep, Orange M3000 does indeed exist. It went by the name of i-mate K-JAM, T-Mobile MDA Vario, O2 XDA Mini S, it was the predecessor to the 3100.

Remember, there are two versions, micro SD and mini SD. The microSD is also known as transflash.

SO is this the SAME card that fits the NOKIA N70 then as I am thinking of getting the vario 2 (Orange M3100) and have tomtom installed on my 512 memory card on My Nokia N70 at present.

WOULD be nice to think all i have to do is insert my memory card and I would have Tom Tom on my new Phone

I don't know much about it, but even to me that seems like very wishful thinking!

[steviec]

You'll need to re-install the Pocket PC Version of Tomtom from the original disks it's a different version on the Nokia's

But are the memory cards the same on the m3100 as they are on my Nokia N70 or will i have to buy another Memory card ?

The n70 uses RS-DV-MMC cards.

[Magic_x_uk]

[Energize]

God knows I've never ever seen a phone use that format before.
