hi at the moment im using 3GB of ddr2 pc 5300 667mhz memory with a foxconn 9657AA motherboard. im sure the max speed my mobo can handle is 667mhz im not sure maybe 800mhz?.iv been told that i will struggle to get a decent cpu overclock with my current memory.what memory can i buy from ocuk to give me a decent overclock.

I wouldn't bother with expensive 667mhz RAM, just buy PC6400 or PC8500 if your mobo doesn't officially support it it will still run fine, just default to 667mhz speeds.

Even if your mobo only officially supports 667mhz RAM it should still overclock above that speed.
