What Memory would be best with this Build?

Hello guys, im going to order my Hard Drive and Memory for my New system, and need to know wich would be the best memory/package to buy.

I mainly use the PC for gaming GTA4 Crysis Etc so want something that will be more than suitable for the job.

Im planning on buying today so any reply's would help!

I would try and stretch your budget and get a 6 gig kit (3 x 2GB) - something like the Kingston Hyper x would be fine.

+1 and you would be able to get that extra 3 gig of memroy - and a much more rounded system

It only has four RAM slots on it though so 2 sets of triple channel memory is out of the question isn't it if the OP wants to upgrade in the future?

Nothing to do with the memory, but why don't you pay the extra £5 and get the retail version i7 D0 version, which should clock better than the previous version.

Yeah that memory would work fine. Seems a good price for 6gb aswell.

The OCZ Gold in icey haj's build would be fine - and is not a lot more over your present memory budget.

Are you planning on getting another 4870? I only ask because 850W is a lot of power for just one 4870. It's fine if you do want to crossfire later on down the line, but if not you could save a bit of money going for a less powerful.

That PSU would have no problems with 2 x 4870's.
