What mobo for conroe

currently have AMD setup... with quad sli - 7950GX2 and 4800X2 DDR1

want to keep the quad-sli nvidia cards, hdd and so on what mobo, ram and cpu..

budget no more than £650.00 - and is it worth the upgrade

The Evga 680i board, Geil 2gb DDR2 800mhz and 6600... not really worth it though considering what you have already.

It would be faster yes, but not worth a £650 upgrade IMO.

Yeah, hold off man, Quad CPU and revisions on the current mobo's are worth the wait. Quad CPU w/ Quad GPU, what next... OCTUPLE!

if you had said 2 years ago there were going 2 be in main line pc quad cpus and gpus you would have been told your talking rubish..

i know from the intel rep they are working on 8cpu's
