What monitor colour calibrator ?

As title, whats a good bang for buck one ? less than £100 ideally, however must support both mac and pc and support 2 monitors (HP h-ips and dell 2407)

pantone huey pro any good ? seems to do multi monitor

I don't think the Huey's fair as well as some other makes to be honest...

An eye1 would be the best, but they're more than £100, although are available used for under your budget.

There is a Spyder 3 Pro on eBay at the moment for under £100. That does multi monitor and will work on a Mac and PC?

I just got a spider 3 Elite... admittedly that was near £150. I can't say a bad word against it. All of the Spyders are PC and Mac compatible. The Pro and Elite models both do multi monitor.

I've been using a Spyder 3Elite now for about a year now and can't fault it but it’s out of your budget range.

There is a PANTONE hueyPRO which is £100 but I’ve no experience of that one.

I chose an Eye1 based on the reviews.

I paid £104 for it.

EDIT: Got hold of a new spyder 3 pro for £86, seems a good buy

Eye-One.

The Huey gets very hit and miss reviews. The latest Spyder is supposed to be quite good also.

Not sure about multi-monitor support. Unless you have very expensive non-TN film monitors then you will always have issues with multi-monitors anyway.

I use a Eye1 Display2 for monitor calibration, and a ColorMunki for paper profiles. I can confirm the Eye1 Display2 supports multiple displays. You simply drag the calibration window to the monitor you want to calibrate and away you go.

I much prefer the Eye1 Display2 to the ColorMunki btw. So much so that I am seriously considering upgrading to the Eye1 Xtreme & i1iO package so I can calibrate monitors, projectors and create paper profiles with it.

What made you go for the pro over the express model. I'm thinking of buying one myself soon and trying to see the benefits of the pro model over the express?

probably the as the express can only calibrate 1 screen whereas the pro can handle multiple screens.
