Hello need option on some GPU monitoring software. Am using MSi Afterburner to OC and increase my GPU voltage. But I just started noticing Max Payne 3 Stutters when OSD is enabled. So I have left AB closed and All My games feel much smoother?
So I have AB setup to OC and apply on system start-up, is there any other program I can use to monitor the Temps/GPU usage etc?

Thanks

GPU-Z has a "Sensors" tab which shows a little graph of clock/temp/fan/volts etc, but it's not nearly as configurable as AB. Worth a try (as it's free), it might not interfere so much.

NB Have you tried increasing the "Hardware polling interval" in AB? Could help.

I haven't its at 700 right now, any damage happen by increasing to much? dont under stand it sorry.
I have GPU-z on now its quite good, lets you see min/max and even avg :)
Using DXtory for video record and FPS on screen and my games seem a lot smoother. I think i'll just leave AB alone to its OC witch it does superb other things I think it fails at least on my system.

I haven't its at 700 right now

700 (ms) = 0.7 seconds, so the app refreshes its sensor data every .7s - decrease this to 10ms, and it's refreshing 100 times per second, which will definitely slow things down. Increase it to 10,000ms and the load will be minimal, but the graphs will be very blocky.

A 700ms interval shouldn't be stressing the GPU unless it's running at 100%. What GPU is it? Latest drivers etc.? (And does AB cause stuttering at stock settings?)

I have my polling interval at 1000 (1s) and get no performance hit. Could be the reason for your problem since you're on 700 (0.7s), meaning it needs to check the GPU stats quicker per second, hence more work?

XfX HD 7950 Double D and using 12.4 because 12.6 and 12.7 have the over scan bug.

Any change?

I use CPUID hardware monitor, as you know my PC crashes a lot - so lot to monitor ( does not crash due to this programme by the way).

I did change it to 1000, but am not using the OSD no more from afterburner. That just my OC software from now on.
I using GPU-z and realtemp for GPU and CPU. Liking GPU-z very much it lets you check on the min/max and avg witch is superb.
For my on-screen FPS count am using DXtory.
