Ok so right now im swining towards the new Steel series XAI HD, but i want another opinion please, as i am attracted to them both for different reasons.

Currently have a G7 Carbon, previous mouse to this was a G5.

If price were not an issue, and they all cost £20 each say, which would you buy?

I would go for the Mamba, followed by the Death Adder, and if you forced me to, the Xai. Saying that, I've had a terrible experience with the Xai and also with Steel Series customer support, so I won't be recommending them to anyone in the future.

Personally, I'd go for either of the Razer ones. In fact, I intend to buy either the Mamba or the Death Adder in the near future.

Excellent, as im starting to swing to both of those now after doing a bit of reading.

More so the Deathadder, simply because its far cheaper, and its wired.

HOWEVER, Should i get the mamba for the sake of both wired and wireless, and the 5600DPI setting. Although why the hell anyone can utilise more than 2000 i do not know. My G7 has 2000 and its smooth as anything with the DPI up.

Out of them both, im worried about shape now.

Happy owner of a death adder here. I'd highly recommend it, and get a good mousemat as well!

Thanks for the heads up, XAI is out the window now.

Ive just bought a Goliathus Speed, the large one. used to own a Everglad Titan but its had 5 years of abuse now.

Does anyone know the cable length of the mamba please?

Ive found the Death adder cable length, but cant seem to find the mamba.

Actually on that note, the mamba and the deathadder are the same thing are they not, only mamba has a higher Dpi setting and is wireless.

It's gotta be the Razer Naga all the way...

Having a numpad on the side of your mouse with modifiers, recordable macro's and a top end DPI its all you could ever want!

Takes a little getting use to but well worth it.

The Mamba is wireless, so probably not an issue, as you can just plug it in when recharging.

Yeah i know, im not worried about the whole battery thing, i just find it pointless buying the mamba when its just a wireless version of the Deathadder, same shape and everything,.

I mean the death adder has 3600DPi anyways which, correct me if im wrong, is more than enough. Also has 1000hz polling.

Dont like the look of it and it seems a little gimmiky. IMO ofc.

I've got the Razer Sphex as my gaming mat. It's so thin it feels so natural to use with any mouse. Would highly recommend it.
