What other cpu blocks are compatible with LGA 1200

Hi

are there any cpu water blocks from previous sockets ie lga 1151 etc that would be compatible with the lga 1200 socket.

The heatsink mounting on Intel's new LGA1200 platform (code name Comet Lake S, Z490 chipset) is identical to all LGA115x sockets (LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156).

Not 100% sure I heard correctly, but aren't the 1200 chips slightly bigger now?

The chips maybe but the socket mounting is the same so older coolers will correctly mount. The IHS is basically the same and the older blocks will work fine.

I've just picked up an EK Magnitude which will work with 115x 1200 and AM4.
