what PC software?

Had to reformat the g/fs PC and now she can't find the CD/software for her canon Powershot A95.

Found a download for a similar piece of software but looks a bit basic so I was wondering what software you guys n gals use for sorting photos, viewing etc?

Personally I use explorer and photoshop but that is not good enough :rolleyes:

Her software used to download them, she could sort them out in folders etc and do basic editing like cropping.

Lightroom 2 - I didn't like it much at first (compared to Photoshop) but it's the best thing ever made now

photoshop is very powerful but would be quite complicated in comparison and she is a girl/woman.

i would be nice and download the latest software for the her from cannons website.

That's the problem, the software from Canon isn't available on their site from what I can see, only updates. :/

May have to try and find a copy somewhere!

I'd say Picasa. It's free, simple, does quite a lot of editing, imports off the camera and sorts into albums

another vote for lightroom - but it's not free.
you can order the canon cd somewhere, but try an explain to the g/f the importance of holding onto the cd's as this has been canon's policy for years, and a new cd is quite expensive (£15 or something)

I use lightroom2 and Photoshop.

Errgh I wouldn't use the camera manufacturers "bloat"
