I have one, but only because it's the only way I can get a response from some old friends.

How about you stop being friends with people that annoy you, or block their updates if they'll be offended and you actually do want to be in contact with them.

I have one, its just another form of communication. also essential for uni with sports teams and last minute changes.

I don't have one, never quite seen the appeal and also been cheated on quite heavily in the past with girlfriends using social networking sites. I've managed to avoid it this far but as I mentioned in the other thread my GF of just under 2 years has very recently jumped on the bandwagon, and is getting right into it. It now means it's in my face more than I'd like it.

Would it be harsh to leave someone over their facebook account? :p

I have a personal Facebook account, a professional Facebook account (LinkedIn works better, but people update Facebook first...), and also oversee 4 Facebook accounts at work.

Trust issue much!!

Blaming social media groups when in fact it was the cheating whore you were seeings fault?

Yeah it's pretty much essential for uni socialising and it's handy being able to see pictures from nights out. And we have a big message thread on there (a bit like a forum) with all my mates in it where we discuss things so that's pretty handy!

Well, erm.....that's different.

Posting opinions and helping/asking for help from others on here is different to having fortyfivebillion 'friends' on Facebook.

I don't have many friends as such, just a select group of very good friends I enjoy hanging around with.

How many of them are on facebook I wonder..

Ever wonder how much info you missed out on if they are!
Even simple rubbish like "off down the pub" can be used to create a social gathering between freinds.
