It'll be a redemption deal though so he might not want the hassle as I'm assuming he wants more than one phone looking at the first post.
Ebay'd be best bet if definitely not contract. :)

yep would be redemption, but if thats not a problem.

Haly, do you think you could have a look at this for me- http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17574629 as you would know more about this sort of thing, working for the CPW group.

Correct, I don't.

About 40, actually. :)

I want a physically local, high-street supplier or a local company. I don't use Ebay.

A certain well known supermarket sell them for £125.97 at the moment (thats with the 10% off offer). Though if you want 40 of them you may have a problem getting them as there is a bulk purchase limit of 3 normally. You can probably get them ordered in.

If you want any more info on the above then i can look into it tomorrow in work.

I can't really help there sorry. That's the kind of thing you need to take up with customer care: try their number 08700870168
There's a chance you might have £20 raised on your account as credit if they're in a good mood, but I honestly don't know.
Just make sure you're friendly to them, nothing worse than someone having a go at you when it's company policy and nothing personal :p

If you want 40 then I would either contact someone like carphone, dont go in the shop, call customer servises. They will probally have loads of these either re-conditioned or returned laying around that they would love to get rid of in bluk. Or the other option would be call Nokia direct for that many.

You say you dont use ebay, but there are loads of lots (10-100) for 6310i's from people that are selling them on form corporate upgrades, so you migth miss out on a bargin

I appreciate the suggestions, but I really do want a local company. I have other things coming up, and I want to develop a relationship with a local firm. This order, and what's coming down the pipe, will be enough to ensure that a local outfit is keen to help, and keep my custom. Dealing with a manufacturer direct, however, I'd be small fry. In other words, I'd rather be a largish fish in a small pond, than a minnow in a huge lake. I want good product, reasonable price and good customer service, but I'm not looking for a bargain. Refurbs, recons, etc are of no interest at all.

Ebay is just out. Never used it, never will. Too many stories of hassles, and I just don't need that. I won't even buy mail-order from reputable companies if I have any other choice. Ebay has its uses, and its fans, but it isn't for me.

good phone, my 2nd choice after the 6310i (my parents company recently upgraded to them 'cause they had same problem as you).
Thanks, spirit.

I just wish it was possible to buy a phone that was just a good phone, without all the superfluous junk (MP3 player, FM radio, camera, ringtones, etc) bolted on.
