Time for a new phone, and the choices are between Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8. Don't want to spend anymore than £30 a month on the contract and don't want to spend any money up front.


Any other suggestions are welcome apart from the iPhone, and any network.
 
Well you can get the HTC for £28 a month for 24 months, giving you unlimited texts and calls and 1GB data from the o2 website.

Personally, I'm waiting to see what the next Nexus 5 has to offer.
 
I would try wait for the upcoming Nexus X/6 as well, should be very good for the price. Other phones to consider is the LG G3 and Xperia Z3.

Just got the HTC One M8, came from an iPhone 5S and I got to say I'm extremely impressed with it. Think what made my mind up was that it felt more of a premium upgrade because of the build quality.
 
Yeah the build quality and the general look of the phone is fantastic in my opinion.

Did you try altering the parameters?

edit. Just looked and the 3 o2 deals that were there when i posted are now gone, sorry, however there were some under £32 still on, the deals on that comprehensive site change constantly.

Shopping basket timed out it was a £29 s5 off tmobile ultd data and text 500 min iirc, I linked that page because a previous poster wanted the actual deal not the comparison site and the actual deal goes to a shopping basket page.

If the op wants an s5 for £30 or less the moneysupermarket site will get him one i wont post anymore links in this thread because i don't care if someone wants to save £2 a week on an s5.
