100%.
I'd been living on my own from the age of 16 in my Mum & Dad's bungalow because they were living in Nigeria and when they came back in 1979 my Mum was a real pain (and still is).
In those days you didn't even think about living together so to get away from my Mum I had to get married.
 
Good luck! I presume if it goes well we won't be hearing from him tonight if it goes badly hmmm give it half an hour...
 
The restaurant we went to has a nice garden out the back, so I suggested a short walk after dinner and did it out there. Turns out it was a good call, we discussed it later and she said she would have been ****ed if I had done it at the table in front of people, she was glad I did it that way instead :)
