What Psu Is Needed To Run A????

so you say a good 450w psu is need to run the card

if i was to run that card on gfs emachine would it work?

becuase i know this emachine dont have a good psu i bet

what PSU is in that PC

i only suggested the corsair VX450 because its a good PSU and will give room for some minor upgrades such as new cpu etc, but that PC will not draw 450W
 
i will take a look when i got time its a Emachine asda sold them.

so the psu will not be killer i know, so would this card make probs for me.


but what woudl be the min you say in watts

Check the label on the PSU for ratings. What you looking out for is the +12V Rail. A combined 26Amps* or above & you're good to go.

*Early (G80) 8800GTS are power hungry

just looked its 300w MAX and the 12v rail is only 15amps lol +s only a OEM psu

what would happen if i did run it?

What happened to the 4670? It's a much better choice.

nuthing mate it will be here tomorron,i will put that in for now, but i had a other pc that could have gone in to and got the Geforce for the emachine has the deal was good from OCUK.

is there a big jump from a 4670 too the 8800 GTS?

looking at some tables there is

EDIT update : anyway looking at it now the 8800GTS in B grade has gone up by around 20 pounds over night and a extra 1 in stock so i be sticking to my 4670 any how, funny that is
