What PSU power do i need?

Hi all,

Im looking at putting my ex machine back together for a freind, the PSU went on it. Im not sure what wattage it needs, the old PSU was 700, but i think that was too much.

Its got an I5 chip, a 1gb HD6600 card and 12gb ram. There will be one SATA drive and one Optical drive. The MOBO is a gigabyte GA-P55-USB3.

Any advice would be gratefuly recieved.

500W will be fine for what he has.

with no GPU then Corsair do a nice 430W.

If you plan on adding a GPU at a later date then go with a 500W or something

Budget is as little as possible, GPU? Isnt that the Radeon HD6600?

Buy a branded one even if it is a budget range i.e Corsair builder series.

There is a reason it's only £15. NEVER EVER skimp on a PSU.
