What Psu should i purchase ?

Just wondering what power supply people on here would recommend for a new build iam putting together. Have max £100 to spend on this and looking at the Akasa Venom 750w but unsure at the moment

Build is Gigabyte Aurora Black Case, Intel icore i5- 2550, Asus Sabertooth P67 Armour, 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600, Antec Kuhler 920 liquid cooler, Msi 6970 Twin Frozr 2gb, Dvd Rom & Dvd Rw, 4 x sata Hd, Imon.

Was thinking of putting my old 750w CiC el cheapo power supply which powered my old system with no problems but a new build i feel requires something better.

At the moment the XFX linked above is excellent value for the price, you go a little cheaper with a 750w PSU but your only looking marginally cheaper though.

The offer finishes Wednesday on the PSU.
 
Yes thanks for the link was looking at the xfx or corsair models. Its a good price and for the extra power and still thinking about this. Need to decide soon as sytem needs to be completed by next weekend, only missing the psu. Thanks again for the heads up. Stephen

It's not just about the max wattage though. It's the ampage available on the rails and also the quality of components used to manufacture it. Cheapo PSU's with a high wattage rating will not be able to sustain that wattage, and when they fail they are likely to damage other components. You get what you pay for with PSU's.

I agree with the posts above, get a Corsair or XFX 750/850 Watt PSU.
