Hi

I am upgrading my pc from my current dinosaur, (still on 32 bit with an athlon xp barton!), & am going to buy the AMD64 X2 3800+ cpu & the asus m2n-e mobo, but I understand for a dual core cpu I can't use my old v1.3 psu, is this right? Could somebody tell me please what psu I need for the above spec? What watts? What version? I'm not an overclocker or a gamer, I just use my pc to surf the net.

How do I know whether or not the wattage of the psu is sufficient?

Have the atx 2.0 got 24pins & the old atx 1.3 had 20 pins then?
