What pump?

Thank you.
I have 2x360 and 1x240 radiators so I think I would need something with a bit of power. The Pantecks Glacier pump compartment is a sort of heat sink that you screw to the top of the pump. Would that do or do you think I should buy a 3rd party heatsink like the one you linked?

Yes I will be getting the heatsink and it will be over a fan. I was looking at the DDC pumps on amazon and someone mention they had bought the pump I linked up above and it did not fit in their Glacier as the impeller was a fraction to big. Is this possible? I thought they would all be the same size.

Plenty of places to buy o rings....

https://www.polymax.co.uk/o-rings/rubber-nbr-oring/
https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/Seals-O-Ring-Seals-NITRILE-O-Rings/c19_4501_4705/index.html

Theres two for a quick example. Remove the o ring from your DDC, measure and order from sites above :)

How important are heatsinks for DDC pumps? I ask as I have 2 that have been in my system for 10 - 15 years, neither have a heatsink and only one has had a fan blowing on it for the last six months or so. Not had an issue with either and both are still going strong.

EDIT - Just googled Laing DDC o ring size and multiple sites appeared listing a o ring to fit the DDC. Cant link them though as they are competitors.

Ha! Thanks. My mistake was putting EK water blocks and/or water pump o-ring in my search. As soon as I entered Laing DDC o ring I got a ton of hits. Thanks very much.
As for the heat-sink thing. My rez/pump combo comes with a heat sink for the pump. Seeing as they are air cooled I would imagine having a heatsink as well as air flow are essential to prolong the life of the pump. There again it could depend on if you have the pumps speed controlled or just let it rip at full revs.

Yeah I can understand wanting to prolong the life it's just I hear people saying you need a heatsink and air flow etc yet mine have both been running full pelt for 10 -15 years with neither and show no signs of giving up anytime soon. Maybe I've just been very lucky.
I think with DDC pumps it's the luck of the draw. If you get a good one, it just keeps on trucking, get a bad one and it's end of life is 31 minutes. I have seen this kind of situation on YouTube quite often.
