What RAM - Corsair

I have just built a new system with a
AMD Phenom 9850 &
Asus M3N-HT Deluxe/Mempipe, NF780a SLI

I have graphics card etc etc all i need to complete it is the RAM. Im looking for 8GB of RAM and was initially thinking:

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB)


however i then noticed, which is not availible yet only pre order:

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (2x2GB)


Which one should i go for? Would i notice a difference between the two?

Sadly, with Phenom this is probably true. I would opt for the cheaper of the 2 kits.

Shame you don't have a C2D or the Dominator would scream along.

As above, opt for the XMS2 but try and get hold of the C4 variation instead as you may find bottlenecks when overclocking it due to wanting 4GB.

Edit: Ignore the 4GB of XMS2 C4 bit. They dont do 2GB sticks of it

In that case, go with the XMS2. Quality RAM
