what ram do i need?

I run a computer with 512 ram which needs upping to 2gig. Its quite old (2 yrs) and CPU-Z says DDR 200.0MHz. CL 3.

Whats the deal with buying ram? it seems expensive to get the old stuff? is there any that is recommended? OCUK value 2gig is about 60quid...
The mainboard model is K8M800-8237 according to CPU-Z

OCuK value should be fine unless you're clocking it. It's usually stuff like samsung etc.

maybe look for some 2nd hand ram. The DDR is a lot more expensive then DDR2 because DDR has more demand than supply when DDR2 has more supply then demand.
